To spread joy and passion through the community by using dinner parties where guests are involved in the preparation of the food. Also, to foster the community by having consistent, fun and exciting events that anyone can enjoy.
Oliver underground is the biproduct of the best ingredients and ambition of a young chef involved in the food business for most of his life. He serves a fresh seasonal menu comprised of his choice of dishes for up to six guests out of his historic early 19th century Charleston home for either brunches or dinners.
All events will be BYOB with recommended pairings, of beer, wine, and spirits.
Cancellation policy: Please be sure you can attend before you sign up however If you are no longer able to make it please let Ryan know at least a week in advance as he starts doing food sourcing and purchasing necessary goods for the event. If you let him know with less than a week, he might have to charge for the goods already purchased.
Ryan is a student at The College of Charleston with a massive passion for cooking, he has been working in restaurants since he could reach the counters in his mom’s restaurant. Since then he has worked in restaurants on and off for several years at three different establishments.
When he has time, Ryan hosts proper sit-down events and pop up meals for his friends. For the sit-down meals, he will send out the menu with plenty of time before the event with first come first serve RSVP. For the pop-up events, the menu/pricing will be sent out via a text about a week in advance and the first 10 people to respond will be included in that event.
